Massive thanks to HASSRA for the £500 funding awarded on 23/1/12, which will go a long way towards the costs of competing at the 2012 European Championships in Luxembourg.

Currently hard at work practising for the first BWPPA event of the season in Barnsley on the 4/5 February 2012, a good performance could see me claiming the no 1 ranking from Roy Kimberley, if I place better than him at the event, but have to play well to do that as he is not top dog for nothing.

I have just submitted sponsorship requests to both HASSRA and CSSC so hope to hear soon.  Big year ahead in 2012, with Euros in Luxembourg in March, World 8 ball in Blackpool in July, and World 9 ball in UAE in September.

2011 news

Massive thanks to HASSRA for the £500 funding, which went a long way towards the costs of competing at the 2011 European Championships in Germany, and to the main BWPPA sponsor 'The Gentlemen's Night Out Charity'. Biggest thanks all of go to my main sponsors Riley's and Predator Cues for their great support.

From 22-23 October 2011, I was at the 5th BWPPA event, the UK 9 Ball Championships. I lost 7-6 in a dramatic final to the multiple world 9-ball champion Jouni Tahti (Finland), after beating him 7-5 in an earlier round.

On 9 October 2011, I won my 23rd National Disabled Snooker title in Riley's Bellevue.

From 31 August to 4 September 2011, I captained the GB wheelchair squad at the World 9 ball pool championships in Poland. I finished in 7th place, losing to Roy 7-6 in a heartbreaking fashion from 6-4 up.

This sort of event costs almost £1,000, so any sponsors; either personal or business would be most welcome. See my sponsorship page for more details.

From 20-21 August 2011, I was at the 4th BWPPA event and I finally broke my duck and won a BWPPA event, beating Phil Hendrickson 7-5 in the final. I beat Roy Kimberley in the semi-final, see full video of final.

I'm now in 2nd place in the rankings.

From 11-12 June 2011, I was at the BWPPA 3rd event, the GB 10-ball championship in Barnsley, when Roy beat me in the semi-final (again!!)

From 16-17 April 2011, I was competing at the BWPPA 2nd event of the 2011 BWPPA tour, where I lost in the semi finals to Roy Kimberley, thus remaining 3rd in the rankings.

From 25 March to 2 April 2011, I captained the GB wheelchair squad at the European pool championships in Germany and achieved a bronze medal in the 9-ball division. This sort of event costs almost £1,000, so any sponsors; either personal or business would be most welcome. See my sponsorship page for more details.

Due to lack of funds and an injury, I have had to pull out of the GB9 ball tour. I'm proud of my time on the tour, where I reached the top 32 of the rankings.

From 5 - 6 February 2011, I was competing at the 2011 BWPPA Tour Event 1, I reached the semi-final. I am also now the secretary of the tour.
